Canon PowerShot A480 Digital Camera Review

I’ve this one, Canon PowerShot A480 digital camera. However, this camera looks great, compact, rich features and easy to take to any where. For the first time, I liked this simple shapes and stylish, quiet slim, and of course the 10.0 Megapixel. I bought the silver color, it’s very cool, moreover with 3.3 x optical zoom. If you haven’t known yet, optical zoom is absolutely different than digital zoom. It uses the real lens whereas digital zoom utilizes the technology, not the “real lens.”

Now talking about the features and specifications. Canon PowerShot A480 uses 2 AA alkaline battery, or can also use the 2 x AA NiMH rechargeable battery. Built-in flash, video and sound recording, LCD display 2.5 inch TFT, SD memory card, auto face detection, 4 x digital zoom, and much more. You can connect / transfer images from and to computer or laptop with USB cable or if you have memory card slot, you can use it.

For the first time use, install the driver given to your computer and after the installation process is done, connect the USB cable from your camera to computer, and Windows will detect automatically. A CD driver contains: Drivers & Utilities, Canon PhotoStitch, Canon ZoomBrowser EX, and Canon ImageBrowser applications. Since I tested it with many pictures, it comes true to near reality colors. Negative point? Just my opinion, images that seem to appear on the camera screen has a little darker when it is up to the monitor screen.

Overall: really good and a nice quality digital camera, Canon PowerShot A480. Range price at $100-$130.
