Goodbye GeoCities!
I hope you still want to hear a bad news, GeoCities has been closed by Yahoo. You need to know, GeoCities is a free web hosting services from Yahoo where you can create a blog easily, quickly, and it’s free. GeoCities is a pioneer in the era of personal web portal and is a pioneer in the field of personal blog / website, where people can create blog and complete their blog with images, text, web pages, website counter, and guestbook.
However, there has been no official reason from Yahoo about this. GeoCities may not be able to compete with several other blogging platforms like Blogger or WordPress because GeoCities technology not up to date. GeoCities was to give a change to the world, goodbye GeoCities.
